Day
1: Embarkation
Depart 5 PM
Embark in Los Angeles
in the afternoon. Get to know the ship and enjoy the afternoon sail away
party. Meet at 5:30 before dinner to get to know fellow participants
and to meet with your teacher. Enjoy a gourmet dinner in the
dining room
with your group. After dinner join your teacher for a formal program
introduction.

Day 2: At Sea Cruising
Today we kick off a day at sea with a morning and evening program. This
morning we will meet at 9:30 am until 11:00 am. After class please
enjoy a wonderful lunch at your leisure and take in some of the
wonderful activities on the ship. Remember that when you see your
teacher or other participants, speaking in Spanish is key to the total
immersion format. Meet for dinner at 6:00 pm with your group. After
dinner we will meet for a nightly review from 8:00 - 9:00 pm.

Day 3:
Cabo San Lucas
Call in Baja’s southernmost city. Cabo San Lucas is one of Mexico’s
most popular and chic resorts. You’ll enjoy the relaxed shopping, yacht
lined harbor and friendly people. Meet with your group at 8:30 am until
10:00 am for instruction. Tonight meet for group dinner at the restaurant at 6:00 pm.
Tonight take advantage of the ships award winning entertainment. The
optional tour will require some walking.

Day 4:
Mazatlan
Your next port of call is Mazatlan, known for its authentic Mexican
atmospheres and one of the longest stretches of gorgeous beach in
Mexico. Following our morning meeting from 8:30 am until 10:00 am,
students may join the teacher for a quick hands on lesson in the shops
adjacent to the pier. Practice your conversation skills hands on with
the locals. The rest of the day is yours to explore. You can opt to
take a taxi into town, arrange a shore excursion through the ship, or
just relax on the ship.

Day 5:
Puerto Vallarta
Sail into El Salado Harbor for a visit to Puerto Vallarta
where the tropical vegetation cascades form the Sierra Madre to the
sparking ocean below. Our day begins with our morning run down and overview of
the beautiful Puerto Vallarta. Meet from 8:30 am to 10:00 am for
instruction. Then join
your teacher in a tour of old town with a stroll around the heart of the
city, the square. Walk with your group around the Malecon and get to
see the famous city by the sea. Either stay in town or head back to the
ship for a late lunch. See you at 6:00 pm for dinner on the ship. The
evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 6 and 7: At Sea Cruising
As we sail back north to Los Angeles, get ready for some exciting days
at sea. Your instructor will hold classes on both days from 9:30-11:00 am & 8:00-9:00 pm.

Day 8: Los Angeles/Home
Disembark in Los Angeles and head for home with happy Mexican
Riviera memories from Portal Languages.
