We made it. Three ports and three sea days later, Brian and I along with 4000 other cruise passengers have almost finished our cruise vacation. We are a short 132 nautical miles from Miami, where we will head back home. In the meantime, we are still on the last fumes of our cruise and we plan on taking full advantage of the ship.

Today passengers on MSC Divina enjoyed the sun and warm Caribbean waters at Great Stirrup Cay. The infrastructre (thanks to Norwegian Cruise Line) was plenty big for all of us to enjoy. Some cruise guests went snorkeling while others rented a cabana for the day.

We brought our own raft from home along with our snorkel, mask, and a some googles. We headed out early and made full use of the island. After three snorkeling sessions and about 30 rides on the the Hippo Water Slide, we ate lunch at the BBQ and headed back to the ship.

It’s not ice cream. It’s gellato.

Thank you MSC Divina for joining forces with Italian confectionery Venchi. We have had the best artisanal gelato n the ship. After a big day at the beach under the Caribbean sun, a double scoop of our favorite flavors was a must.
